John Culley has a long-standing interest in palliative care and has recently become a member of ACT - the Association for Children's Palliative Care. He has also been a trustee of other charities, one based in Brighton. Having trained as a lawyer, John works in the City of London, where he is the manager of a marine insurance association. He has just completed a postgraduate course in voluntary sector management at Cass Business School’s Centre for Charity Effectiveness. Outside work and volunteer commitments, John likes to spend time with his family. He is interested in architecture, current affairs and history and has an irrational (and frustrating) devotion to Southampton FC. John moved to Sussex in 1987 and now lives in Lewes.
